Project Coodinator

Peak Engineering & Construction Ltd. is currently seeking resumes from qualified individuals to fill the position of Project Coordinator.

 Engineering Technologist diploma or Engineering Degree
 Experienced in MSWord, Excel, Microsoft Project
 Self-motivated, team oriented and a good communication skills
 Results oriented, conscientious and organized with attention to detail
 Multi-tasking with ability to take initiative and meet deadlines
 Eagerness to learn
 Adhere to company policies & procedures

At the Project Manager’s discretion, assist with the coordination of projects including:

 Liaise and maintain professional relationships with owners, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors
 Liaise with Site Supervisor and provide back up in Project Managers absence
 Assist with paperwork flow between construction site and head office
 Assist in preparing estimates
 Ordering materials from suppliers and following up on delivery/quality
 Accompany Project Manager to project site meetings when necessary
 Preparation of subcontracts, purchase orders, request for quotations and change orders
 Assist in the review and submission of shop drawings, request for information and payment applications
 With the Project Manager and Site Supervisors input, update the project schedule using MS Project
 Assist with all facets of project close-out, including archiving documents, prepare ‘as-built” drawings as required, operation and maintenance manuals, deficiencies and warranty work
